cerning the Killing by the English up in Baltemore
County, belonging to the
On the backside of w^ch Pet" is thus.
This howse doe thinke fitt, that the Commis^rs of Baltemore
County doe make Enquiry after the Death of the Two Indians
in this Petⁿ mentioned. And report the matter of ffact to the
next Prouinciall Court. And tfr the Provinciall Court bee
impowred by this Assembly to proceed according to Justice &
Articles w^th the s^d Indians made att Delaware

Will^m Calvert Esqr motions the howse, That whereas there

last night by Edward Erberry to the disturbance
their quiett & rest. Hee humbly requesteth the of, &
to proceede eyther by presentm^t seeme best. And
prayeth that itt bee into their Consideraon & debate,
informes th^t Edward Erberry did call the Rogues
&c:
informes th^t Erberry called the whole

how th^t Erberry sayd wee were a the Lower
howse, And were a wee came.
That amongst a greate Company Erberry sayd,
That Charles Caluert was a Rogue
Will^m informes how th^t Erberry sayd in his hearing,
wee (viz^t the Assembly) were a Company of pittifull Rogues.
And th^t uppon a Reply M^r Caluert made to him, the s^d Erberry
p^rsisted, saying, Yow are a Company of Rogues & Puppies &
there is not one in the Country deserues to keepe mee Com-
pany but Charles Caluert, who owes mee Ten Thows^d pownds
of Tob.
M^r Richard Smyth informes how th^t this morning when
Erberry awaked, the s^d Erberry complayned hee was bownd.
That hee remembred all what hee sayd last night. & that hee
