ORIGIN & FUNCTIONS


In Worcester County, the legislative and executive branches of County government are administered by the Board of County Commissioners.

Elected to four-year terms by the voters, the Board of County Commissioners consists of seven members. From its members, the Board annually chooses the President and Vice-President for a four-year term.
