Former educator, municipal official, homemaker. Delegate, Democratic Party National Convention, 1980. Former chair, Resolution and Issues Committee, Maryland Democratic Party. President, Maryland Municipal League, 1981-82. Past president, Harford County League of Women Voters. Former vice-chair, Discover Hartford Committee, Inc. Member, Communications and Transportation Committee, National League of Cities; Region 5 Criminal Justice Planning Board. Leadership Award, Maryland League of Women Voters, 1979. Honorary Citizen, City of Aberdeen, 1980. Distinguished Service Award, Maryland Municipal League,1982. Certificate of Distinguished Citizenship, 1982.
