Former personnel and supply manager, U.S. Navy. Former senior staff aide to Superintendent of Documents, Government Printing Office (assistant manager, warehousing & distribution facility, Laurel). Former property management officer, U.S. Department of the Interior. Former property management consultant, U.S. Holacaust Memorial Museum. Member, Calvert Citizens Coalition; Maryland Chapter, Grandparents United for Children's Rights. Board of Directors, Safe Harbor, Calvert County's shelter for abused women and children (founding member; past chair); Friends of Felines. Past co-chair, Maryland Chapter, Grandparents United for Children's Rights. Past president, Dunkirk Area Concerned Citizens Association. Married; two children, two grandchildren. Died in Owings, Maryland, February 2, 2017.
The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners in January 2017 voted to name the new Calvert County animal shelter at Prince Frederick, Maryland, in Ms. Kelley's honor. It is called the Linda L. Kelley Animal Shelter.
