Born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, May 25, 1956. Attended St. Paul's School for Girls, Brooklandville, Maryland; Denison University, B.S. (psychology), 1978; University of Baltimore Law School, J.D., 1981. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1981. Member, Maryland State Bar Association (criminal law & practice section council, 2004-20; board of governors, 2013-15); Baltimore County Bar Association, 1981-2020 (law day committee, 2012-20; Maryland State's Attorneys Association. Died in Baltimore, Maryland, November 9, 2020.
