Contract #026£-B rejected, as being excessive. Upon motion of Mr. Goslin, seoonded by Mr* Miller, it was voted that the contract, dated August 13, 1912, being #0105, be awarded, upon recommendation of Chief Engineer Shirley, to B. B. Gonder, of Strasburg. Pennsylvania, for the building of the road from Centrevllle to Wye Mills, In Queen Anne's County, for the sum of |21,968.94. Upon motion of Mr. Ramsay, seoonded by Mr. Miller, it was voted that the contract, dated August 13, 1912, being #0107, be awarded, upon recommendation of Chief Engineer Shirley, to B. £• Gonder of Strasburg, Pennsylvania, for the Improvement ef the road from Centreville to Wye Mills in Queen Anne's County, for the sum of $52,786.90. Upon motion of Mr. Goslin, seoonded by Mr. Ramsay, it was voted that the contract dated August 13, 1912, being #071, be awarded Phillips & Heal, of Hurlook, Maryland, for the improvement of the State Road from Hurlook to Shlloh Church, In Dorchester County, upon recommendation of Chief Engineer Shirley, for the sum of $11,813.60. Upon motion of Mr. Miller, seoonded by Mr. Goslin, it was voted that the contract dated August 13, 1912, being #015-AB2, be irarded, upon recommendation of Chief Engineer Shirley, to the Piedmont Construction Company, of Baltimore, Maryland, for the Improvement of State Road Ho. 1, from the B. & 0. Railroad crossing, 1-1/2 miles south, for $21,832.40. This Includes bituminous binder. Upon motion of Mr. Ramsay, seoonded by Mr. Goslin, It was voted that the time for the completion of Contraot #018, to Bush, Moller & Smith, upon recommendation of Chief Engineer Shirley, be extended from September 1, 1912, to October 10, 1912, on State Road #1. Upon motion of Mr. Goslin, seoonded by Mr. Ramsay, the recommendation of Chief Engineer Shirley that the Blkton-Chesapeake Road, In Cecil County, our Contraot #045, S. S. Andrews s.- Sons, contractors, he accepted, was approved. Upon motion of Mr. Ramsay, seoonded by Mr. Miller, the bids on State Roed leading from Wayside to Bock Point, Contract #0154, In Charles County, upon recommendation of Chief Engineer Shirley, were rejected as being excessive. Upon motion of Mr. Goslin, seoonded by Mr. Miller, the bids for the Improvement of the approaches to the Sharptown Bridge, Contract #0262-B, upon recommendation of Chief Engineer Shirley, were rejected as being excessive.
