Approval of Contract #0490, Chesapeake Con-'struction (Jo. thore would bo any "balance remaining. It was r.uggosted to the delegation that they might avail themselves of State Aid for this work. The Chairman wac instructed to advise Llr. Smith to this effect, and also, if possible, to go ovor the route asked by them, with Llr. Shirloy, as soon as convenient. A largo delegation from the Liberty Road in the Second 31ootion District of Baltimore County, headed by 13. John Black, of Har.da 11s town, asted that an appropriation of $6,000 l)e made to assist in the reconstruction of the Liberty 3oad from Uilford j'lill Avonuo to Ilorth Branch, about 7-1/12 miles, loss 5-1/2 miles now being improved by Baltimore County and the citizens of the Liberty Road. Moved by lir. Miller, rocondod by Llr. Ramsay, that the natter be left to tho discretion of the Chairman, lir. V/eller, to adjust. L largo delegation from the Bolair Road, Baltimore County, headed by I.Jr. C. Soss Mace, of Rossvillo, and Rev. Charles J. Trinkaus, of Fullorton, appeared before tho Board, asking for the further improvement of the Bolair Hood, ond particularly at Putty Hill. It was arranged that tho Chairman would meet a delegation nescfc week and see if ways and moans can be devised for giving them some relief. Upon motion of "Jr. Goslin, seconded by ilr. Ramsay, the matter was referred to the Chairman, with power to act. A coriTiittoo representing the Ilalethorpo Improvement Association, hoadod by Honorable Carvillo D. Benson, appeared before tho Commission, and requested that the rights-of-way over the Pennsylvania « Saltimore u Ohio railroads on tho Washington Boulevard, near Hnlothoroo, be adjusted as soon as post-.able, and that any othor work possible might Lo done thore this fall. They v/ere assured that this would bo given attention, and that tho-»mattor would be taken up by tho Chairman, with Ur. Bonson. It was moved by Ur. Ramsay, seconded by Mr. IJiller, that, upon the recommendation of tho Chief 3nginoor and the Chairman, the time for the completion of Contract #0174, in llarford County, by Forsytho & Spencer, be extended to September 15, 1912. Upon motion of Llr. Ramsay, seconded by lir. Goslin, the contract dated the 16th day of August, 1912, being #0490, with the Chesapeake Construction Company, for the improvement of the three miles of road oast of ITorth 3ast on tho Old Post Road, in Cecil County, bo, and tho same is, hereby approved.
