RC.JA Page 421. Request for extension of road from Glenburnlo to Severn Run. Request for hearing at Denton, Motion to Adjourn. Adjournment. A delegation of citizens from Anne Arundel County with Mr. James S. Smith as spokesman, appeared before the Commission, asking for an extension of the road from Glenburnie to Severn Run, a distance of about 6 miles. The Chairman informed the delegation that he was of the opinion that there would not be sufficient funds to complete the work now contemplated in Anne Arundel County, and was therefore, unable to give then any assurance as to the building of this road at the present tine. Messrs. Albert G. Towers and Harry A. Roe requested the Commission to grant a hearing to numerous citizens of Caroline County, to be held at Denton, regarding the route of the road to be built between Preston and Dover Bridge. On motion, duly seconded, the Commission adjourned to meet at its offices, 532 H. Howard Street, Baltimore, on \7ednesday, July 31, 191E, at 9.30 A. H. ADJOUR1ISD. Attest: irraan. cretary. Baltimore, Md., July 31, 1912. One Hundredth Meeting. Present. Notice to be sent Highway Construction Co. as to completion of Contract #0211. A special meeting of the State Roads Commission was held at its offices, 534 H. Howard Street, Baltimore, Md.p this Wednesday, July 31, 1912, at 9.30 A. M. Present: Chairman Weller, Messrs. Miller, Ramsay and Goslln. On motion of Mr. Miller, seconded by Mr. Goslin, the Chairman was authorized to notify the Highway Construction Company and their bondsmen, that some satisfactory assurance must be at once given this Commission that their Contract #OB11 in Washington County, will be completed Hovember 15, 191B, or the Commission will at once take such legal action as will Insure such completion.
