RoJA page 415, Ur. Shirley appointed Chief\ i Engineer. Leon 3. G-reenbaum appointed Counsel. Resignation of 3.E.Goslin as secretary accepted. Resignation of 57m. D. Uhler aooepted. Delegation urging the improvement of city end of Fredk.Pk. Delegation urging improvement of Belair Road. Delegation interested in improvement of Central Ave. Motion to Adjourn. Adjournment. and that if it shall bo deemed desirable to retain Ifir, Croeby as oonstilting engineer after August 1, 1912, this shall be determined by subsequent arrangement with Mr. Crosby. The motion was adopted. It was moved by Governor Goldsborough, seconded by Dr. Clark, that Mr. Henry G. Shirley of Baltimore County, be appointed Chief Engineer of the State Roads Commission, to succeed LIr. "/. iV. Crosby, at a salary of $5,000. per annuia, to take effect from June 15, 1912. The motion was carried. Governor Goldsboroujh noved that Llr. Leon 3. Green-baum of the firn of Gaither & Greonbaum, bo appointed Counsel to tho State Roads Commission, at the salary fixed by lc.w, and if not so fixed, at $2000. per annum, to take effect from this date. Tho motion was seconded by Hr. Ramsay, and adopted. On motion of Governor Goldsborough, seconded by Dr. Clark, the resignation of 3. 3. Goslin, as secretary to the Commission, WKS accepted, to take effect from Kay 22, 1912. Mr. Killer moved that the resignation of Mr. William D. Uhler, us Assistant Engineer to the Commission, be accepted, to talre effect from June 15th, 1912. The motion was seconded by LIr. Ramsay and adopted. A delegation consisting of Messrs. John Hubnar, R. H. Preston, 3. Stanley Gary, G. iV. Lurman, George P.. Gaither. Slanchard Randall, and others, appeared before the Commission, urging the improvement of the city end of the Fredericktown Turnpike. Messrs. Wilkinson, Biddison, Gatoh, and others, addressed the Board regarding the improvement of the Belair Road in Baltimore County. Rev. iVilliam J. Williams, lur. Francis J. Karmody, and others, appeared in the interest of the improvement of Central Avenue from Washington. D. C. to Annapolis, by \7ay of Largo and Hall in Prince George's County. Upon motion, duly seconded, the Commission adjourned to meet at its offices, on Wednesday, June 5th, 1912, at 9 A. M. ADJOUR1T3D: Attest: Cliairman. Acting -Secretary.
