Dr. Remsen moved that the request of Spencer & Forsythe that the bonds be reduced on Contracts #0173 and 0174 In Harford County, be declined. The motion being seconded by Mr. Shoemaker, wus adopted. Bids to be asked for on Sections 10, 13 & 14-B of the Washington Boulevard. The regular seni-monthly meeting of the State Roads ComralsEion was held at its offices In the Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Maryland, this Thursday, May 2nd, 1912, at 10 A. M. Present: Chairman ffeller. Dr. Reins en, Messrs. Shoemaker,. Hutton and Lloyd. The minutes of the meeting of the Commission held April 2£nd, 1912, were read and approved. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the report of April 29th, 1912, of the sub-committee in the matter of claims of D. 7. Attlt, recommending a payment of $4673.13 on the Westport Road, (Contract #0181) and $4053.05 on the Harford Road (Contract #0183), be approved, and that the Chairman be authorized to settle with Mr. Ault in accordance with the recommendations of the Committee. The motion being seconded by Mr. Lloyd, was adopted. On motion of Mr. Hutton, seconded by Dr. Remsen, the Chairman was authorized to advertise, as promptly as possible, for bids on the following sections of the Baltimore and Washington Boulevard: 1. Section between the B. & 0. Crossing near Halethorp* and the Patapsoo River (Section 13) for a distance of about 4000 feet. 2. For the section at Paint Branch near College Park (Section 10), a distance of about 2000 feet. |
