Page 402* Baltimore, Md., April 10, 191£, Bighty-sixth Meeting. Present. Minutes approved. A Special Meeting of the State Roads Commission was held at Ita offices In the Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Maryland, this Wednesday, April 10th, 1912, at 11 A. M. Present: Chairman Weller, Dr. Remsen, Dr. Clark, Messrs. Shoemaker, Hut ton and Lloyd. The minutes of the mooting of the Commission of March 29th, 1912, were read and approved. A delegation from Frederick County, with Messrs. JTewraan and Dennis as spokesmen, appeared before the Board, regarding House Bill Bo. 186, providing for the taking over of certain turnpikes in Frederick County to be purchased by the County Commissioners, etc. After hearing all arguments by the delegation in favor of the bill. Dr. Clark moved that the Chairman request the Governor to veto this bill. The notion was seconded by Mr. Shoemaker, and adopted. Mr. Michael Walsh addressed the Connies ion with respect to Governor requested to veto \ House Bill Ho. 361, directing the State Roads ComniBsion to pay David "bill regarding claim of David/ S. Walsh of Carroll County, moneys claimed to bo due him under State B. Walsh. J Road Contract #0201. On motion of Dr. Clark, seconded by Mr. i I Shoemaker, the Chairman was instructed to request the Governor to 1 veto this bill. Governor requosted to veto bill regarding turnpikes in Frederick Co. Approved bills ordered paid. §111 of G. 2. French for intrst. Chalrnian's report to Governor OH changes in Dover Bridge. Dr. Clark moved that all bills this day approved by the Auditing Committee, be paid. The notion being seconded by Dr. Rensen, was carried. Dr. Remsen moved that the bill of George 3. French for Interest on money advanced for pay-rolls on State Road Ho. 1, between June 18th and August 13th, 1910, amounting to $61.92, be referred to the Chairman. The motion being seconded by Mr. Lloyd, was adopted. On motion of Mr. Hutton, seconded by Mr. Shoemaker, the Chairman's action in reporting to Governor Goldsborough the views of the Commieeion regarding the request of Captain Thomson that the elevation of the Dover Bridge be changed, was approved. The Chief 3nglneer's reports under date of April 2nd and Changes in Sngr.Dept.approved. April 3rd as to changes in the SSngineering Department, were, on motion of Dr. Clark, seconded by Mr. Shoemaker, approved. Final Estimate on Contract Ho. Dr. Clark moved that the final estimate on Contract flo.081-B, 081-B ordered paid. amounting to $4684.22, be paid, the work under this contract accepted,
