Pago 276. Final estimate of Talbott Jo. less liquidated damages on rhiladelphia Rd.to be paid. Obstruction of Philadelphia Rd. by vehicles referred to Counsel. Acceptance of G-reensboro-Boyce1 s iiill Road. Reimbursement of ii." 'Brown for damages account of right-of-way for Kalmla Road. Report to be furnished by engineer of cost of v.-ork under contract & otherwise. Rental of Machinery of State Road IIo. 1 by Cecil Jounty. Bill of Phillips & Andrews for tiling on Contract #070. Mardalla-Sharptown Road, 500 barrels of cement, subject to inspection after delivery. Dr. Clark moved that the final estimate of the V. A. Talbott Company on Contract #0182, (Philadelphia Poad), amounting to $7,230.98 loss $110.00 as liquidated damages to cover tho extra cost of inspector on this work, he paid. The notion v/as second 3d by covernor Crothers, and adopted. Governor Crothers moved that the natter of obstruction on the Philadelphia Road, caused by vehicles left in front of "blacksmith shop, be referred to the Counsel of the Commission with instructions to act. The motion was seconded by *"r. shoemaker, and adopted. Governor brothers moved that tho final, acceptance of the Greensboro Boyce's Kill Road "he approved. The motion was seconded by "Or. Clark, and adopted. A coramuni cation, under data of January 7th, 1911, from A. T. 7'cCann, Street, T/d., was read to the ^oard, record en dins- that '?. W. •qrown, contractor, be reimbursed in the amount of *35.00, which sun had "been paid by ?"r. "^rc'vn to >rr. Puph Ward for damages sustained "by Mr. Ward in connection with rirht-of-way fur the T^almia Road. It was the uense of the "^oard that this amount he not paid at the present time. On notion of -^r. Clark, seconded "by "r. Shoemaker, the Chief Engineer was requested to make a report to the "Board on the relative character and cost of the work done under contract, by County and under private auspices, up to' "December 31st, 1910. "^r. Clark moved that the Chairman be requested to secure the necessary information r2gardir.fr rental of machinery "belonplnp; to S'.ute Hoad #1 by ^ecil County, dating from July 15th, 1909, so that sa^e may bo presented in proper form for final action at the next regular meeting of the Tommi ssion. The motion was seconded by TIT, Remaan, and adopted. The Chairman stated that rresars. Phillips and Andrews, Contractors on work in Dorchester County, had submitted a bill to the Commitieion for 590 lineal feet of 4" tiling which had be an left over on Contract #0?o on account of charts in the plans of this work. ?'r. Shoemaker moved that the secretary be instructed to communicate with Messrs. Phillips 4 Andrews, calling their attention to the clause in their contract by which the commission reserves the right to chanf^e quantities, as it may deom necessary. The motion was seconded by Governor Crothers, and adopted.
