Cost of Pumping Outfit for Somerset County ordered paid. wan ordered that the County Commissioners of Somerset County "ha allowed the sum of $5.00 per day for roller, 25 cants per day for dump wagons and 50 cents per day for sprinklers, during the working season. Mr. "tyhitcraft also requested t"~e Commission to reconsider its previous decision and allow the sum of $5'~>.00 for lease of land, -Jsed in connection with unloading and storing of stone, and £77.50 for siding, stating that it was absolutely necessary to incur these expenses in order to handle the work economically. In view of Mr. 'Vhitcraft's explanation, T. Clark moved that these bills amounting to $50.00 and $77.50 respectively, "be allowed. The motion -.vats seconded by governor brothers, and adopted. A "bill of $15.00 for use of roadway through field running parallel to State Road in course of construction by the County Comrnissi oners of Somerset County was discussed by the "Board, and it was decided to postpone action on this matter for the present. An amount of $7.50 for bale of waste used on road roller in connection with State Road work in Somerset County was, on motion of TIT. Clark, seconded by !)r. Remsen, ordered paid. "Rill from County Commissioners of Somerset County for $75.00 on account of borrow pit to supply material for State Road, was, on motion of C-overnor Crothers, seconded by ""T. Shoemaker, ordered paid. Dr. Clark moved that amounts of $5.80 for supplies and $64.36 for cast iron pipe, for which duplicate bills had been rendered by the County Commissioners of Somerset County, be paid when approved by Auditing Committee. The motion was seconded b .•• Governor Crothers, and adopted. Regarding the purchase of a pumpinr outfit by the Commission srs of Sonerset County without the proper authority of the State Roads Commission, I'r. ^"hit craft stated that this outfit was absolutely necessary, there being no water available v/hich could be used for their road work, and requested the Commission to reconsider its farmer action in this matter "and allow this charge, amounting to $240.76. On motion of "Hr. Clark, seconded by C-overnor Crothers, said bill for pumping outfit for Somerset county road work, amount ing to $240.76, was ordered paid. A delegation from Howard county, with Ex-C-overnor War-field, Senator dorman and Messrs. Thomas and Cissel as spokesmen, appeared before the "Board relative to the purchase of the Clarice-
