On motion of "nr. rjlark, Chairman Tucker was authorized to execute all supplemental agreements with the contractors desiring to continue \vork on their contracts after November 15th. The motion was seconded by Yr. shoemaker, and adopted. Dr. Clark moved that all bills, this day approved by the Auditing Committee, be paid. Special Treating of th3 State "Roads Commission was h3ld at its offices, Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Md., this Monday, November 21st, 1910. Present: Tovarnor ^rothars, Chairman Tucker, Messrs. Clark and Shoemaker. The reading of the minutes was dispensed with. TTr. shoemaker moved that the following offer be made for the Boonsborough Turnpike Road- "The State Roads Commission, created under the provision of Chapter 141 of the ^cts of the Taneral Assembly of Maryland 1908, hereby offers you the sum of One Thousand Two Hundred Dollars par mile in cash for all your right, title and interest in and to the bed of the Boonsborough Turnpike Road, as now located, to be paid within thirty days after the acceptance of this offer, provided you accept same promptly and as soon as the legal formalities necessary for the acceptance thereof can be complied with. It is understood that this offer is made for the road-bed only and between its termini and not for any cash or securities you may own or be in possession of and fot for any real estate outside of the bed of said turnpike road. You may also retain the privilege of removing any and all toll-gates and toll-gate houses now belonging to you within the bed of said road, provided same are removed before the first day of May, 1911.
