Rp.JA page 250. sections of State Road. Communication from County Commissioners of Talbot £ Caroline Counties regarding Dover Beige. Rd. & bridge over Chontank River Entrance to Woodland Hall. Signing of Contract with Y/arren Brothers on Harford Rd. Continuation of macadam work after November 1st. speaking for the Charles County representatives, stated that it was their wish to have the road construct ad from T'echani cavil la through to the Oaks, and then on from Hughesville to Bryantovm, to Waldorf, '.vher-3 it will intercept the road to the prince George's County T,ine, which is completed. Senator 7erve also of Charles County, stated it was the desire of numerous citizens of Charles County, that the State Road should continue on from the prince rreor.cre's County Line to Pock Point. T,rr. Morgan, speaking for St. Gary's County, advocated the building of the State Road as stated by Dr. Carrico. Regarding the contract for tha "building of the r»ov^r Bridge Road and bridge over Choptank Rivsr, the Commission received the following communication, duly executed by the County Commissioners of Talhot and Caroline Counties: . Tfishar 4 Carozza have notified us that they claim that we have broken our contract with them for the completion of the Dover Bridge woad and the bridge across Choptank River. It ie imp3rative that this work be completed at the earliest practicable moment, and we respectfully request that you have your engineer prepare plane and specifications and a notice for advertisement of the work to be completed. Ws will expect the T. shoemaker, the matter v/as referred to the Counsel and Chief engineer, with power to settle same. The motion was adopted. On motion of Mr. Sho amakar, seconded by Dr. Clark, it was agreed that the contract of Warren Brothers, on the Harford Road be signed, and that they be notified that this contract is awarded to them with the distinct understanding that they will not demand of the State Roads Commission the additional $615., or 10# of the increase in cost of the bridge. The motion was duly carried. Mr. Hutton moved that the Chief ^gineer be instructed to grant perm is si on in writing, upon the approval of the Chairman, for the continuation of macadam work on all existing contracts after November let, and until such work is notified to cease by the Commission; provided that supplemental agreements, similar to
