Page 229. Construction of Wash.Spa Spring Railroad on State Rd.#l held in abeyance. Payment one-half cost of bridge on Contract #234 in Caroline County. Conowinpo Bridge Co. requested to name price for bridge. Crusher Plant purchased for Cecil County. Approved bills ordered paid. List of bills. Motion to adjourn. Adjournment was out of town, and the matter of construction of their railroad on State Road *To. 1 would have to be held in abeyance until his return. On motion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded "by irr. Eutton, the Chairman and Counsel to the commission were authorized to go into this matter with Mr. Marbury upon his return, and to take such action as may "be necessary to protect the position of the State Roads Commission. The motion was adopted. The County Cornmiseionors of raroline County presented for payment a. bill of one-half the total amount paid for construction of bridge in Caroline County (Contract #234), said total "being $837.46. Mr. Shoemaker moved that monthly estimates be rendered to the Comptroller in due form for the State's portion, one-half of this amount. The notion was seconded "by "r. Hutton, ard adopted. On motion of Kr. Shoemaker, seconded "by "'r. Hutton, the Chairman was requested to communicate with the Conowingo Tidpe Company, asking than to name the lowest price at wffiich the bridfe could be purchased for use on a portion of the State Road System. The motion was adopted. Chairrr.an Tucker recommended that crusher plant now in use on State Road work in Cecil County, consisting of engine, crusher and birss, be purchased. On motion of Mr. Shoemaker, duly seconded and adopted, it was ordered that said crusher plant "be purchased by the Commission. Mr. Shoemaker moved that all bills this day approved by the Auditing Committee, be paid. The motion was seconded by "r. Hutton, and adopted.
