Rp.JA Page 228. Personal expenses of Committee in Charge of Contract #0210 Allowed. Request for reduction of bond of J. W. Silver &. Company on Churchville-Aberdeen Road. Violation of law regarding Traction Enpines on Contract #0110 - Talbot County. Charge of $20.25 by Road Directors of Allegany Co. for fixing wagons, allowed. price of the ?,ronroe paving Company, and if accepted "by them, the certified check filed with the bid of the Monroe Company returned to them. The motion was adopted. The Chairman read a communication from "Hr. T> FcPherson Scott of Washington County, stating that the Committee in charge of construction of section of road throuph Clearspring in this County, had agreed to go on with work along lines previously suggested and asking that personal expenses incurred be allowed. It was agreed that all proper personal expenses incurred in connection with supervision of this work be allowed, and ^r. Scott so notified. A communication from "r. w. A. "tthitak9r, attorney for ,T. w. Silvar & Company, contractors on section of road from Church-ville to Aberdeen in Harford County, was presented to the "Roard, requesting that bond on this contract "be reduced, since a large portion of the contract had by en completed. Kr. Button moved that ?!r, T0hitak~3r be communicated with to the affect that the State Roads Commission cannot see its way clear to comply with his request. The motion was seconded by I.fr, Shoaina'or, and adopted. The Chairman read a communication from the second assistant engineer regarding the violation of the law as to the use of traction engines on Contract ''To. 0110, in Talbot County, by one John R. Callahan, a resident of this County. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the attention of the State's Attorney be called to this violation of ruling of the Commission under Law of 1910, passed at the last session of the r.agislature, tocretlur with the fact, that notice of this ruling had been posted along the road and Mr. Callahan'e attention called to said notice, and asking that irr. Callahan be prosecuted for this offense. *T. Hutton seconded the motion, which was adopted. The Road Directors of AJlegany County submitted to the Board a letter in explanation of charge of $20.25, being expanse incurred by fixing wagons used on Contract #0141-A, which amount the Commiesi on had heretofore declined to pay. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the Road directors of Allegany County be notified to the effect that their explanation of this charge was a reasonable one and that chack for this amount would be forwarded them. The motion was duly seconded, and adopted. Tha Chairman raad a communication from the Spa Springs and Gretta Railroad Company, stating that Mr. Karbury, their countel,
