Page 177. Continuance in prasent capacities of Chief -Snginaer, First & Second Engineers, Counsel and Secretary to the Commission. Matter of construction of roads in "Frederick County by County Commit si or.ars under State Supervision. Understanding as to liberty Turnpike with "ity Authorities. Request by American Telephone & Telegraph Co. to lay its conduits on Philadelphia Rd. Question of charge for right to lay conduits on State Rds. Flow of water on property of Mr., Joel Brown of Queen Anne's County obstructed. Relocation of road on Welsh property in Queen Anne's County. Governor Crothers moved that the Chief ™np;ir.eer, the First and Second Assistant 'In^ineers, Counsel and Secretary to the Corrmiissi on, be continued in thoir present capacities, with thair consent, until the first me-jtinp of the ^onwission in the month of June, at their present salarijs. The motion was seconded by "r. Kutton and adopted. A delegation, consisting of the County HoramissicnJTS and othjrs of ^rederick County, appeared "before the "omrission re'-ard-ing the building of Stat j Poad8 in said County by the "Board of County Commissioners under State Supervision. It was understood tliat the County Commissioners of Frederick County would "be accorded the same Cwurt^siee and privileges as had ba^n accorded in other Counties of the S'cate in rer-ard to road building. City Solicitor Poe conferred v/ith the "on-mission as to the title of the Liberty Turnpike. It was finally understood that if the city v.'ould take cars of the encumbrances, such as sewers, ra.s mains, etc., etc., other than the United ^ailv/ays matter as to the removal of tracks, etc., tho State ^oads Commission would go ahead with the work on this road. y.r. ^^rnard ".
