Page 124, Payment of Bills Authorized. Surveys in Frederick Co. Communication from Chief "Engineer regarding employees. Tftnployees. Approval of recommendations of Chief "ngineer. Time Allowed G. Hunter Sykes on account of sickness. Laying of main and service pipes on Park Heights Ave. Claim of Im.A.Larkine, Jr. Dr. Remson moved that bills now due by the Commission have been approved by the Auditing Committee, that the payment of same be authorized. The motion was seconded by Governor Crothers, and adopted. Mr. Hutton moved that surveys be made in "Frederick County running from Jefferson to the Washington County line, via Weverton. The motion was seconded by Dr. Remsen, and adopted. The Chairman read a communication from the Chief Engineer, under date of September 16th, 1909, regarding the employees in the office and field forces of the engineering department, as follows: September 8th, 1909. do 13th, 1909. cloyed Sept. llth at t 150. per mo. do. Parkhurst, do. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the above recommendations of the Chief "^ngineer be approved. Dr. P.emsen seconded the notion, which was adopted. The Chairman read a communication from I'r. G. Hunter Sykes, Chief-of-Party, regarding the time allowed him by the Commission on account of sickness. At the suggestion of T)r. Remsen the matter was postponed until the next meeting of the Commission. The Chairman presented a communication from the Chief ""'ngineer of this Commission and !/T. "Beadenkopf, Engineer of the Consolidated Gas Company, regarding the laying of a main and service pipes on Park Heights Avenue, which request had been approved by Mr. H. G.
