Adjournment. of the Rising Sun - Calvert Road ; and that he borrow, buy or hire such machinery as may be necessary to start the construction as soon as he has the specifications. The motion was seconded by Mr. Hutton, and adopted. Governor Crothers moved that Vincent Win. Power, jr., will allow; six days on his vacation account of this year, and nine days be charged up tohis next year's vacation account, provided he remains in the service of the Commission ; otherwise, the nine days to be taken out of his pay, in the event of his leaving the service of the Commission. The motion was seconded "by Mr. Hutton, and adopted. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the action of the Chairman in employing the following draughtsmen, viz: P. "R. Burroughs, at a salary of $50.00 per month ; 7. "F!. Dryden, at a salary of $50.00 per month ; H. P. Hopkins, at a salary of $40.00 per month ; T. T. Walsh, at a salary of $50.00 per month ; S. M. Lowrey, at a salary of $50.00 per month ; and that his action in sending the following draughtsmen out as Inspectors, viz: C. Butler, R. C. Price, G. Townsend, and &. T. Davis, be approved by the commission. The motion was seconded by Governor Crothers, and adopted. The Chairman reported that in regard to the gt. Mary's County contract, he had heard from McCormick & Company to the effect that if the Commission would allow him 10/ additional on excavation they would go ahead with the work. No action was taken. On motion of Governor Crothers, seconded by Mr. Shoemaker, the Commission adjourned to meet Tuesday, July 27, 1909, at 3 o'clock P. M., at its offices, Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Md. ADJOURNED:
