Page 66. Brief of Hon. B. Lee, Adoption of Form of Contract as amended. Motion to Adjourn. Adj ournment, Hon. Blair Lee, of J.Iontgoir.ery County, } resented a "brief on the form of contract, and appeared "before the Commission in person in explanation of his recommendations. Mr. Shoemaker moved the adoption of the form of contract, as amended, and that it be referred to the same Committee on Forms, to attend to the details of the binding, etc. The motion was seconded "by Dr. Clark, and adopted. Er. Shoemaker moved that the Coir-Mission adjourn to meet Saturday, May 8th., 1909, at 10 o'clock A.II. The motion was seconded by I.rr. Hut-tor., and adopted. ATTEST: "haiman, OT'-T*, Md. , May 8th., 1909. Thirty-seventh Meeting. Present. Reading and Api-roval of Minutes. Charge for Blue-Prints and Specifications. Preparation of Specifications for following counties: St Mary's County. A special meeting of the State Roads CoinLiission was held this urday, Ma./ 8th., 1909, at the offices of the Commission, 503 Unicn Trust Building, Baltimore, Maryland, at 10 o'clock A.M. Present: Governor Austin L. Crothers, Chairman John I.'. Tucker, Llessrs. Francis C. Hutton, Samuel M. Shoemaker, Ira Remsen and William Bullock Clark. The minutes of the previous meeting of the Cor.jnistsion were- read and approved. Dr. Clark moved that a charge of $2.oo for the specifications, and 25 cents a sheet for "blue-prints, "be made to cover the expense of getting them up for bidders. The motion was seconded by I^r. Hutton, and adopted. Governor Crothers moved that specifications be prepared for the following Counties and that bids be asked for in sections and of materials, as follows: ST. MARY'S COUNTY: 5.3 miles south from Mechanicsville, to be divided into proposals as follows: (a) the first 2.5 miles, (b) the remaining 2.8 miles, (c) the whole 5.5 miles, for the following materials: 14 ft.stone macadam, 14 ft. gravel macadam, 14 ft. oyster shell macadam, and 18 ft. Sampittic surfacing, as per approved plans.
