The regular bi-monthly meeting of the State Roads Commission -ras held this Thursday, February 4th 1909, at its offices, Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Fd., at 11 o'clock A.M. Present: Governor Austin L. Crothers, Chairman John M. Tucker, Dr. Ira Reinsert, Dr. Wm. Bullock Clark, I.'r. Francis C. Hutton and 1'r. Samuel M. Shoemaker. The minutes of the previous meeting of the Commission were read and approved. Dr. Reiasen moved that it is the sense of the Commission that the State Roads Funds be left in the hands of the State reasurer, provided they may be kept there as a separate account and the interest thereon may be credited to the State Roads Fund. The motion v;as seconded by I.'r. Hutton and adopted. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the Counsel and Chief "Engineer State Roads Commission confer with the Counsel and Road Funds to be left in hands of State Treasurer but interest, to credit of Road fund to be u.llo\v-ed. Printing of forms of Contracts and Specifications Lease with Johns Hopkins University to beexecuted Bills ordered paid arrangement or plan as to the conditions to be imposed in the taking over of any turnpikes that may be adopted as State Roads which they can recommend to the Commission to be adopted. The motion was seconded by Dr. Clark, and adopted. Dr. Remscn moved that the Commission authorize the printing of the forms of contracts and specifications, as presented >v the Counsel, upon the most favorable terms. The mot-ion was seconded by Yr. Shoemaker, and adopted. Governor Crothers moved that the lease with the Johns Hopkins University, (as amended) for the rental of the building, 532 North Howard Street, Baltimore, be duly executed. The motion "as seconded by Dr. Clark, and adopted. The Chairman presented the following bills for the action of the Commission, and on motion of Dr. Clark, seconded by Mr. Hutton, the bills enumerated were ordered paid- The bills follow: The BILLS Remington Typewriter Co. $ 2.95 Chattolanee Wator Co. 1.30 Johns Hopkins Univsty 166.67 Natl Towel Service Co. 1.50 G.
