Page 16, Page 16. Baltimore, Md., August 4th., 1908. Twelfth Meeting. Present. Minutes read. Permanent location of Road in Kent County. Permanenet location of Road in Talbot County Permanent location of Road in Caroline Co. Permanent location of Road in Queen Anne's County. Permamenent location of road in Cecil County. Chairman to obtain information regarding turnpikes. Pursuant to notice a meeting of the State Roads Commission was held at his office, Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Md., this Tuesday, August 4th., 1908, at 11 o'clock A.K. Present: Governor Austin L. Crothers, Chairman John M. Tucker, Dr. William Bullock Clark, Mr. Francis C. Hutton and Mr. Samuel M. Shoemaker. The minutes of the last meeting were read and on motion, duly seconded, were approved. Governor Crothers moved that the location of the road in Kent County heretofore made and entered upon the minutes of this Commission be and the same is hereby confirmed and approved. The motion was seconded by Mr. Shoemaker and adopted. Governor Crothers moved , after hearing the persons for and against the tentative location of the State Bad in Talbot County, that the Commission hereby confirm and approve the location of the State Road in said Talbot County as heretofore made by this Commission and of record on these minutes. The motion was seconded by Mr. Shoemaker and adopted. Dr. Clark moved the adoption of the road in Caroline County heretofore tentatively located by this Commission and recorded among these minutes, except that the road shall proceed from Greensboro to Goldsboro, to Hollingsworth Cross Roads, then to the Queen Anne County line on the Ingleside Road. And the road from Denton to American Corners shall be via Two Johns. The motion was seconded by Governor Crothers and adopted. Governor Crothers moved that the State Road for Queen Anne's County heretofore by this Commission tentatively located and now of record among the minutes of this Commission be and the same is hereby approved and confirmed, except that the connection to Caroline County run from Church Hill, through Tilghroan's and Ingleside fro the Caroline County line near Baltimore Corners, instead of from Centreville through Ruthsburg; and that the road proceed from Church Hill toward Crumpton by way of Dudley's Corner, as far as the money allotted to this county will allow. The motion was seconded by Mr Hutton and unanimously adopted. Dr. Clark moved that the State Road for Cecil County heretofore by this Commission tentatively located and now of record among the minutes Of this Commission be and the same is hereby approved and confirmed. The motion was seconded by Mr. Hutton and unanimously adopted. Dr. Clark moved that the Chairman be authorized to take early and definite action to obtain information regarding the condition of (16)
