The Chairman presented to the Commission a statement of expenses of the Comirlssion to date, together with some bills for office fixtures, supplies, etc. , all of which were approved and ordered spread upon the minutes of this meeting. Tucker, railroad fare May and June, 1908 — - —— 35 . 70 The Secretary was instructed by the Commission to notify Mr. E. F. Ruggles and Mr. W. D. Uhler of their appointments as First and Second Assistant Engineers respectively. The question of additional clerical help in the engineering department was brought to the attention of the Commission by the Chief Engineer, "but the matter went over to a later meeting. On motion, duly seconded, the Commission adjourned to meet at these offices on Wednesday, July 15th., 1908, at 11 o1 clock a.m. Adjourned. Attesyf - Final location of the road in St. Mary's Co. Baltimore, Md., July 15, 1908. A meeting of the States Roads Commission was held this Wednesday, July 15th., 1908, at 11 o'clock a.m., in Room 512, Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Md., pursuant to notice. Present: Governor Austin L. Crothers, Chairman John M. Tucker, Mr. Samuel M. Shoemaker and Mr. Francis C. Hutton. The minutes of the last meeting were read, and on motion, approved. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the Committee appointed to secure accommodations for the engineering department be authorized the conclude arrangements for the same at the earliest possible date. The motion was seconded by Mr. Hutton, and adopted. Governor Crothers moved that no change be made in the location of the St. Mary's County Road south of Newmarket, and that the final location of the road to the north of Newmarket be postponed until the Charles County Road has been (11)
