Road Location of the Talbot County Road. Location of the Caroline Co. Road. Location of Dorchester County Road. Adjourned. A meeting of the State Roads Commission v/as held on board the State Steamer "Gov. P.F.Thomas" on the way from Cambridge to Annapolis, this Wednes4ay, May 27th.1908, at 6 o'clock P.M. Present: Governor Austin L. Crothers, Chairirian John M. Tucker, Dr. Wm. Bullock Clark, Mr. Samuel r. Shoemaker and Mr. Francis C. Hutton. The reading of the minutes of the Commission was dispensed with. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the Cecil County Road run as near as nay be from Conowingo, through Rising Sun, Calvert, Blueball, Fairhill, Cherry Hill to Elkton, and on down through Chesapeake City, Cecilton, Fredericktown, provided the County Commissioners of Cecil County will build with State aid the road from Fairhill towards Newark to the State line. The metier, was seconded by Governor Crothers and adopted. Dr. Clark moved that the Kent Road proceed as near as may be from Georgetown to Galena tc Kennedyville to Chester-town, and fern Chestertown to Parley towards Rock Hall via Sandy Bottom. The motion was seconded by Governor Crothers and adopted. Mr. Hutton moved that the Qu->en Anne's Road run from Chestertown by way of Church Hill to Centreville to Wye Mills, and from Centreville to the Caroline County line via Ruthsburg. The motion being seconded was adopted. r Dr. Clark moved that the Talbot County Road run as near as may be from Wye Mills to Easton, to Trappe by way of the Stumptown Road. From Easton to Royal Oak toward St.Michael's and to Dover Bridge. The motion was seconded and adopted. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the Caroline County Road proceed as near as may be from the Queen Anne's County line from the end of the Ruthsburg Road via Greensboro to Den-ton to American Corner to Federalsburg, and from Dover Bridge to the Dorchester County line via Preston. The motion was seconded by Mr. Hutton and adopted. Dr. Clark moved that the Dorchester County Road run as near as may be from Federalsburg, via Hurlock, Fast New Market, Mt. Holly to Cambridge; thence from Cambridge to Church Creek toward Bishop Head}from the Caroline County line near Preston to Hurlock; fom East New Market to Vienna.
