Field Artillery Guidons These were battery guidons of the 351st Field Artillery. The unit engaged in active firing for the last nine days of World War I in support of the American Second Army. No. 57-A - Maryland State Guard National Flag This forty-eight star standard national flag was carried by the Second Maryland Infantry, Maryland State Guard, in the World War I era. No. 57-B - Maryland State Guard State Color This State color was carried by the Second Maryland Infantry, Maryland State Guard, a unit organized for home duty during World War I. Upon disbanding the regiment, this color and the preceding one were presented to the State by Thomas Warner Jenkins, Baltimore. _31_
