121 We the subscribers appointed by the Orphans' Court of Kent County Maryland and being duly authorized to view the Estate of James T. Crew Joseph H. Crew and A. A. Crew minors in the hands of Annie T. Crew Administratrix and Estmated the annual thereof after having taken the required oath do certify and return that we have viewed the Estate of said minors and Estimated the annual value thereof at one hundred and sixty dollars The property consisting of a frame dwelling at Betterton Landing in Kent County Sixteen feet by forty feet two stories with shed room fourteen feet by forty feet one and one half stories high Carriage House sixteen feet by sixteen feet; And five Acres of land badly broken by ravines and in a poor state of cultivation The dwelling has a porch in front eight and a half feet by twenty three feet The buildings all in Good Condition There is also a Ground rent of ten dollars on the land We therefore sum it up thus;
In witness whereof we hereto set our hands and seals this first day of January Eighteen hundred and seventy seven Witness Geo Gale (seal) Annie E. Gale F. H. Harper (seal) and was duly recorded by Wm Stevens Regr At an Orphans' Court for Kent County held in the Court House at Chestertown in Tuesday the 17.th day of April 1877 Henry T. Jump and James S. Harris were appointed to appraise the Annual Rental Value of the Real Estate of Hanson Crew deceased; and afterwards to wit on the 17th day of July 1877 The following Report was received by the Court and ordered to be filed and recorded The undersigned appointed by the Orphans' Court of Kent County State of Maryland to view the Real Estate of Hanson Crew deceased in the hands hands of J. R. Crew Adm'r and to view the premises Estimate the Annual Rental Value and do what is required by the annexed appointment do hereby certify and report that we have valued the Annual rent of said Estate The Property of Hanson Crew dec'd located at the head of Still Pond Creek consists in the following: A Lot of five acres of land more or less about one half of which is marsh one & a half acres is in Peach trees |
