    I Samuel Brown Junr Register of Wills for Anne Arundel
County do hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last Will
and Testament of Richard Merriken late of the county aforesaid deceased
that he did by his said will Manumit Liberate and set free a
negro Girl by the name of Jane Gantt and it being proved to my
satisfaction that the Bearer hereof is the identical person as freed
by said Will  I do certify that she is in height five feet three
Inches is about the age of thirty years dark complexion and
was freed by the last will and Testament of the Said Richard
Merriken dated the ninth day of July 1814 was raised in
Anne Arundel County has a scar on the right arm below the
Elbow & a small over the left Eye
                                        Issued the 16 November 1841

            I Samuel Brown Jnr Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County
do hereby certify and attest that it appears from the last will and
testament of John Linsted late of the county aforesaid deceased that he
did by his said will Manumit Liberate and set free a negro Girl by the name
of Luce and it being proved to my Satisfaction that the bearer hereof
is the identical person as Freed by said will  I do certify that she
is in height five feet four & ½ Inches is about the age of Thirty one
years dark complexion and was Freed by the last will and Testament
of the Said John Linsted dated the second day of December Eighteen
hundred and Seventeen was raised in Anne Arundel County has a
scar on the right wrist
                                    Issued the 1st December 1841
                                            Sam.l Brown Jnr Regr Wills A A County


            I Samuel Brown Jn Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County
do hereby certify and Attest that it appears from the last will and
Testament of James Mackubin late of Anne Arundel County aforesaid
deceased that he did by his said Will Manumit Liberate and set free
a negro Boy by the name of Philip Dorsey and it being proved to
my satisfaction that the Bearer hereof is the identical person as
Freed by said will  I do certify that he is in height five feet seven & ¼
inches is about the age of Twenty five years light complexion and was
freed by the last will and Testament of the said James Mackubin
dated the Twenty Eighth day of January 1828 was raised in Anne Arundel
County has a scar on the back of the left hand
                                            Issued the 27th December 1841
                                                            Sam.l Brown Jnr Regr Wills A A County
