and susan A. Jenkins and acknowledges the
above instrument of writing or Bill of sale to
be their act and deed according to the true
intent and meaning thereof and at the same
time appears before me susannah Brown
the grantee in said Bill of sale named and
made oath on the Holy Evangely that the consideration
set forth in said Bill of sale
is true and bona fida as therein set forth

presented for record one dollar in lieu of stamp under

Know all men by these presents that I
William simpson administrator of Charles
R. simpson deceased for and in consideration
of the sum of four hundred
                             and sixty five dollars lawful money to him in hand
                             paid by William Morrison the receipt whereof is
                             hereby acknowledged hath bargained and sold assigns
                             transferred and set over and by these presents
                             doth bargain and sell assign transfer and set
                             over unto the said William Morrison his executors
                             administrators & assigns A mulatto woman
                             Named Henrietta to serve untill the first day
                             of november eighteen hundred and sixty seven
                             To Have and To Hold said Henrietta unto the said
                             William Morrison his executors administrators
                             and assigns for and during the said term as aforesaid
                             that is to say untill the first day of November eighteen
                             hundred and sixty seven when she is to revert
                             to and become the property of Caleb Dorsey of Caleb
                             and his representatives he being the ^first^ owner of said
                             Henrietta and in further consideration of the
                             above mentioned sum of money have bargained
                             and sold to the said William Morrison the infant
                             child of the said Henrietta now about one month
                             old named Eliza Ann to serve till it arrives at
                             the age of thirty years or untill the first day of
                             January Eighteen hundred and Eighty five and then
                             to be free and the said William simpson Adm.r
