ROBERT L. EHRLICH, JR., Governor                            S.B. 122

(1)     one member of the Senate of Maryland, appointed by the President of
the Senate;

(2)     one member of the House of Delegates, appointed by the Speaker of
the House;

(3)     the Secretary of Aging, or the Secretary's designee;

(4)     the Secretary of Business and Economic Development, or the
Secretary's designee;

(5)     the Secretary of Planning, or the Secretary's designee;

(6)     the Executive Director of the Rural Maryland Council, or the
Executive Director's designee;

(7)     one representative from the Maryland Association of Counties,
appointed by the Governor;

(8)     one representative from a Maryland chapter of the National
Association of Retired Federal Employees, appointed by the Governor;

(9)     one representative of AARP, formerly known as the American
Association of Retired Persons, appointed by the Governor;

(10)   one representative of the Maryland Gerontological Association,
appointed by the Governor;

(11)   one representative of the health care industry with expertise in
senior health issues, appointed by the Governor;

(12)   one representative of the housing industry with expertise in senior
housing and retirement community issues, appointed by the Governor;

(13)   one representative of the Center on Aging, University of Maryland
College Park, appointed by the Governor;

(14)   one representative of the Maryland Institute for Policy Analysis and
Research, University of Maryland Baltimore County, appointed by the Governor;

(15)   one representative of Loyola College in Maryland, appointed by the
Governor; and

(16)   one representative of the Regional Economic Studies Institute,
Towson University, appointed by the Governor; and

(17)   one representative of the United Seniors of Maryland, appointed by
the Governor; and

(18)   one representative of Salisbury University in Maryland, appointed by
the Governor.

(c) To the extent practicable, the Governor shall attempt to ensure regional,
ethnic, economic, and gender diversity on the Task Force.
