(F) THE COUNTY BOARD, IN COOPERATION WITH OTHER APPROPRIATE
LOCAL UNITS, SHALL PROVIDE STAFF FOR THE TASK FORCE TO THE EXTENT
POSSIBLE WITHIN EXISTING BUDGETED RESOURCES.

(G) THE TASK FORCE SHALL ISSUE A FINAL REPORT OF ITS FINDINGS,
RECOMMENDATIONS, AND STRATEGY TO THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE AND, SUBJECT
TO § 2-1312 OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE, TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY ON
OR BEFORE JANUARY 1, 1997.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1995.

June 1, 1995. It shall remain in effect for a period of 7 months and 2 weeks and, at the end
of January 14, 1996, with no further action required by the General Assembly, this Act
shall be abrogated and of no further force and effect.

AN ACT concerning

Frederick County - Reciprocal Local Preference

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Board of County Commissioners of Frederick
County, when awarding a contract by competitive bidding, to give the same local
preferences to certain Frederick County firms that states or political subdivisions in
which nonresident firms are located give to their resident businesses; authorizing
certain regulations; defining certain terms; and generally relating to advantages in
competitive bidding.
