DRAFTER'S NOTE:

Subsection (b) of this section is amended to reflect the establishment of the
Department of State Police as a principal department of State government by
Chs. 165 and 166, Acts of 1994 and to correct the alphabetization of the list of
principal departments.

(e) Except as otherwise provided by law, the period of probation for law
enforcement employees of the DEPARTMENT OF [Maryland] State Police and the
Department of Natural Resources shall be as provided in this section.

Department of State Police as a principal department of State government by
Chs. 165 and 166, Acts of 1994 and to delete surplus language.
