and Nicholas Wright of Dorchester County in the state of Maryland
are held and firmly bound unto the State of Maryland in the full &
just sum of Two thousand dollars current money of the United States
to be paid to the said State or its Attorney to the which payment well
and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors
and administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents.
Sealed with our seals and dated this 19.th day of April 1847.
The Condition of the above Obligation is such that if the above
bounden Martin M. Dean shall well and truly execute the Office
of Constable in Election District number two in Dorchester County
in all things appertaining thereto and shall well and truly account
for all monies placed in his hands for collection and shall
also well and truly pay all sums of money received by him then the
above obligation to be void otherwise of full force & virtue in law.

Dorchester County, To wit:   On this 19.th day of April 1847 personally
appeared before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and
for the County aforesaid John Muir & James Smith and made the
following Oath, to wit: "We John Muir and James Smith subscribing
witnesses to the above Bond do make Oath that Martin M. Dean
Richardson Gambrell and Nicholas Wright obligors mentioned in the
said Bond did severally in our presence sign, seal and deliver the said
Bond as their act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned."
Sworn before me on the day above mentioned.               Robt. Bell


State of Maryland      Be it remembered that the following Bond was
          from   Ex.d      recorded on the 19.th day of April 1847, To wit:
John B. Dean & others      [Stamp]    Know all men by these presents that
                                       [one doll.]  we John B. Dean, Richardson Gambrell
and Martin M. Dean of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland
are held and firmly bound unto the state of Maryland in the full &
just sum of two thousand dollars current money of the United States
to be paid to the said state or its attorney to the which payment
well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves, our heirs,
