Section 19-305.1

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Health Occupations
19-305.1.
Until [July 1, 1993] OCTOBER 1, 1995 JANUARY 1, 1995, the Board shall waive the
examination requirements of this title for an applicant for a certified social
worker-clinical license if the applicant:
(1) Pays the application fee required by the Board under § 19-303 of this
subtitle;
(2) Is WAS a licensed certified social worker ON JULY 1, 1993; and
(3) Is WAS eligible for inclusion on the vendorship list maintained by the
Board ON JULY 1, 1993.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is an emergency
measure, is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health and safety, has
been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to
each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, and shall take effect from the date it is
enacted.

FOR the purpose of altering the license fee for traders in Cecil County; making technical
corrections; correcting an obsolete agency reference; making this Act an emergency
measure; and generally relating to license fees for traders in Cecil County.
