AN ORDINANCE concerning

Housing Maintenance and Occupancy Code

FOR the purpose of clarifying provisions of the Housing
Maintenance and Occupancy Code; providing the minimum total
window area; granting authority for exceptions to minimum total
window area; and generally relating to the Housing Maintenance
and Occupancy Code.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 22

Sections 2-401 and 2-402(c)

Charter Amendment - Executive Branch and Exempt Service

A RESOLUTION proposing an amendment to the Charter to rename the
"Director of Administration" to the "Chief Administrative
Officer"; to rename the "County Solicitor" to the "County
Attorney"; to rename the Confidential Secretary to the
County Auditor to the Administrative Assistant to the County
Auditor; to provide for the supervision of all offices and
departments in the Executive Branch by the Chief
Administrative Officer; to create an Office of Information
Services; to organize Executive Branch offices and
departments into core groups; to add a Legislative Counsel
to the County Council and a Legislative Liaison Officer to
the exempt service; to designate an assistant to the County
Executive as a Director of Programming; and altering the
qualifications of certain executive branch directors and
officers; and adopting a certain question pertaining to this
Charter amendment to be voted on at the General Election in
November, 1988.
