County Commissioners may charge a reasonable fee for the issuance
of the permit.]

[(e) Nothing in this section shall be construed to make it
unlawful for any volunteer fire company or bona fide fraternal,
civic, war veterans', religious, or charitable organization or
corporation in Charles County to donate any part of the proceeds
from the operation of paddle wheels, wheels of fortune, chance
books, bingo, or any other gaming device at the Charles County
Fair to the Charles County Fair Board.]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the County
Commissioners of Charles County shall appoint 7 members to the
Charles County Gaming Permit Review Board created in Section 1 of
this Act to initial terms ending July 1, 1993 terms of the
initial members of the Charles County Gaming Permit Review Board
shall expire as follows:

(1)   3 members in 199 2;

(2)   2 members in 19 91; and

(3)   2 members in 1990.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

Military Department - Workers' Compensation Insurance -
Maryland State Guard

FOR the purpose of requiring that the Adjutant General provide
workers' compensation insurance for certain members of the
State military under certain circumstances militia during
training and clarifying the assumed wage for benefits.
