SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

13-412.

(a) Unless [annual] CURRENT validation tabs have been
issued by the Administration and are displayed on the plates as
provided in this subtitle, the registration and the registration
plates issued under this title for them expire at midnight on the
dates indicated on the registration card issued by the
Administration.

13-413.

(A)  (1) THIS SECTION APPLIES ONLY TO THE REGISTRATION OF

COMMERCIAL CLASS E (TRUCK) AND F (TRACTOR) VEHICLES THAT ARE

MAINTAINED AS PART OF A FLEET OF 5 OR MORE SUCH VEHICLES IN THE

SAME CLASS.

(2) NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF THIS
SUBTITLE, THE ADMINISTRATION MAY ADOPT A SYSTEM OF MULTIYEAR
REGISTRATION.

(B)  VEHICLE REGISTRATION PLATES OR VALIDATION TABS SHALL BE
ISSUED AND DISPLAYED IN ACCORDANCE WITH A SCHEDULE ESTABLISHED BY
THE ADMINISTRATOR.

(C)  THE FEE FOR A MULTIYEAR REGISTRATION IS THE SAME AS THE
ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE ESTABLISHED UNDER THIS TITLE MULTIPLIED
BY THE NUMBER OF YEARS FOR WHICH THE REGISTRATION IS ISSUED.
