Ch. 11                                    LAWS OF MARYLAND

(5) Contract for day care services in the space
provided. Contract providers must provide proof of financial
responsibility.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects stylistic errors in a
cross-reference in § 14-119(b) of the Health - General
Article.

The stylistic errors occurred in Ch. 115 of the Acts
of 1986.

The stylistic errors were noted by the Michie Company.

(e) Children of State employees shall have priority over
other children in admission to a group day care center in a
State-occupied building or nearby buildings.

(F) (1) After a group day care center for children of State
employees has been established, the Department of Health and
Mental Hygiene shall assess the child day care needs of the State
employees using the center at least every 5 years.

(2)  If the assessment demonstrates that the service
is no longer needed or feasible, the Secretary of the Department
of Health and Mental Hygiene may close the center.

(3)  The Secretary of the Department of Health and
Mental Hygiene shall give the group day care center 90 days'
written notice of closure.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects a stylistic error in
numbering of the subsections of § 14-119(e) of the
Health - General Article, and thereby creates a new §
14-119(f).

The error occurred when the designation of § 14-119(f)
was inadvertently dropped in the amending of Ch. 115
of the Acts of 1986.

The error was noted by the State Attorney General in
his bill review letter of April 23, 1986.

14-408..

Subject to the hearing provisions of [§14-411] § 14-409 of
this subtitle, the Department may deny a certificate to any
applicant, or suspend or revoke a certificate, if the applicant
or certificate holder:

(1) Fraudulently or deceptively obtains; or attempts
to obtain a certificate for the applicant or certificate holder
or for another;
