(vii) 3 shall represent tenants of rental
property in areas with a significant presence of lead-based
paint, 1 of whom shall be a parent of a child who has experienced
lead poisoning;

(viii) 2 shall represent local governments in
areas with a significant presence of lead-based paint, 1 of whom
shall be from Baltimore City;

(ix) 2 shall be health care providers who are
knowledgeable in the field of lead poisoning prevention,
management, and treatment;

(x) 2 shall be members of the general public;
and

(xi) 2 ex officio members as provided in
subsection (c)(4) of this section.

Article - Natural Resources

1-102.

(a) The following units are included within the Department:

(6) The Energy Administration, which shall include
the Power Plant Siting and Research Program, the Bureau of Mines,
AND the Land Reclamation Committee[, and the Maryland Energy
Office];

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Department of
Economic and Employment Development and the Department of Housing
and Community Development are the successors of the Department of
Employment and Training and the Department of Economic and
Community Development, as provided in this Act, and the Secretary
of Economic and Employment Development and the Secretary of
Housing and Community Development are the successors of the
Secretary of Economic and Community Development and the Secretary
of Employment and Training, as provided in this Act. In every
law, executive order, rule, regulation, policy or document
created by any official, employee or unit of this State, the
names and titles of those agencies and officials mean the names
and terms of the successor agency or official, as provided in
this Act.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That every person who,
as of June 30, 1987, is employed by the Department of Employment
and Training or, the Department of Economic and Community
Development, the Department of Natural Resources, the Department
of Human Resources, and the Board of Public Works in a position
authorized by the State budget and not. abolished by this Act is
