AN ACT concerning

Domiciliary Care Facilities Board

FOR the purpose of creating the Domiciliary Care Facilities Board
as an interagency group; designating the membership,
composition, and the chairperson of the Board; requiring
certain executive departments to participate in the Board's
functions in a certain manner; authorizing the Board to
review, approve, and make policy regarding domiciliary care
facilities; requiring the Board to report annually to the
Governor and the General Assembly; and generally relating to
the responsibilities of the Domiciliary Care Facilities
Board.

BY adding to

Article 41 - Governor - Executive and Administrative

Departments
Section 229 to be under the new subtitle "21 Domiciliary

Care Facilities Board"

(A) THERE IS A DOMICILIARY CARE FACILITIES BOARD
ESTABLISHED TO:

FACILITIES;

(1) DEVELOP STATEWIDE POLICY ON DOMICILIARY CARE

(2)  COORDINATE AGENCY RESPONSIBILITY FOR
IMPLEMENTATION OF POLICIES AND PROGRAMS RELATED TO DOMICILIARY
CARE;

(3)  REPORT TO THE GOVERNOR AND, SUBJECT TO § 2-1312
OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE, TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY ON THE
