Section 1.211 "Incorporation of Class Specifications" and Section
1.301 "Classification and grades of classified positions" of
Title I "Administration" of the Howard County Code in order to
maintain the classification plan on a current basis.

AN ACT amending Sections 1.302, 1.303 and 1.304 of the
Howard County Code in order to add, delete or amend the
classification and/or grades of certain executive exempt,
miscellaneous exempt and state-authorized exempt positions.

AN ACT repealing and re-enacting Section 7.302 "Duties of
court reporters; transcripts" of the Howard County Code in order
to delete obsolete language and to clarify language.

Effective Date June 6, 1983.

AN ACT adding new Subtitle 8 "Special Charges" to Title 20
"Taxation and Public Credit" of the Howard County Code to
authorize the imposition of a service charge for bad checks and
to authorize the setting of such charge by County Council
resolution.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
22.415, "Contents of the capital budget and capital program", of
the Howard County Code, for the purpose of requiring that certain
information be provided for capital projects in the capital
budget and the capital program; providing that such information
shall be approved as a part of the Annual Budget and
Appropriation Ordinance of Howard County and of the resolution of
the Council approving the capital program; and further clarifying
