As used in this article, unless the context clearly requires
otherwise:

(g) (8) "Employment" does not include:

(XX) SERVICE PERFORMED IN AN AMATEUR ATHLETIC
CONTEST BY A REFEREE, UMPIRE, LINESMAN, OR OTHER OFFICIAL ON A
PER GAME FEE BASIS FOR A NONPROFIT AN ASSOCIATION OF REFEREES,
UMPIRES, LINESMEN, OR OTHER OFFICIALS , IF THE PERFORMING
OFFICIAL IS MADE AWARE AND UNDERSTANDS BEFORE PERFORMING THE
SERVICE THAT THE SERVICE IS NOT COVERED EMPLOYMENT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
be applied retroactively.

SECTION 2 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1984.

AN ACT concerning

Regional Planning Council - Notice of Hearing

FOR the purpose of altering the individual in certain counties to
whom notice of a public hearing shall be given before
adopting a general development plan; altering the individual
to reflect the adoption of a charter form of government in
certain counties; and generally relating to the notice of
hearing required before the Regional Planning Council's
adoption of a general development plan.
