(2) A member appointed to fill a vacancy in an
unexpired term serves only for the remainder of that term and
until a successor is appointed and qualifies.
(3) A EXCEPT FOR THE STUDENT MEMBER, A member may be
reappointed but may not serve more than two full 5-year terms.
THE STUDENT MAY BE REAPPOINTED IF THAT STUDENT CONTINUES AS
CHAIRPERSON OF THE STUDENT ADVISORY ASSEMBLY TO THE STATE BOARD.
(4) EACH STUDENT MEMBER SHALL SERVE:
(I) FOR A TERM OF 1 YEAR AS AN APPRENTICE; AND
(II) 1 YEAR AS A FULL VOTING MEMBER.
[(c)] (D) Each member of the Board:
(1) Serves without compensation; and
(2) Is entitled to reimbursement for expenses in
accordance with the standard State travel regulations.
[(d)] (E) During his membership on the Board, a member
may not be employed by or be a member of the governing or
advisory board of any agency or any institution of postsecondary
education that is subject to the jurisdiction of the Board.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That for the first
year after the effective date of this Act, there shall be 1
student member who has not served as is an apprentice and is
serving for only 1 year and 1 student member who is an
apprentice.
SECTION 3 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1984.

AN ACT concerning
Public Notary Notary Public - Commission Expiration Date
FOR the purpose of requiring public notaries notaries public to
include on all documents that they authenticate each act,
instrument, or attestation the expiration date of their
commission as a public notary notary public.
