ZB02 LOCAL JAILS AND DETENTION CENTERS
(A) Dorchester County Detention Center. Provide a grant to the
County Commissioners of Dorchester County to assist in the
installation of a new Master Door Control System at the
Dorchester County Detention Center, subject to the
requirement that the grantee provide an equal and matching
fund for this purpose. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act,
the matching fund may include funds expended prior to the
effective date of this Act................................................................. 63,000
(B) Garrett County Detention Center. Provide a grant to the
County Commissioners of Garrett County to assist in the design
of a new Garrett County Detention Center, subject to the
requirement that the grantee provide an equal and matching
fund for this purpose. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act,
the matching fund may include funds expended prior to the
effective date of this Act................................................................. 518,000
(C) Harford County Detention Center. Provide a grant to the
County Executive and County Council of Harford County to
assist in the expansion and renovation of the Harford County
Detention Center, subject to the requirement that the grantee
provide an equal and matching fund for this purpose.
Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching fund
may include funds expended prior to the effective date of this

(D) Prince George's County Detention Center. Provide a grant to
the County Executive and County Council of Prince George's
County to assist in the renovation of the Prince George's County
Detention Center, subject to the requirement that the grantee
provide an equal and matching fund for this purpose.
Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching fund
may include funds expended prior to the effective date of this

(E) Washington County Detention Center. Provide a grant to the
County Commissioners of Washington County to assist in the
renovation and expansion of the Washington County Detention
Center, subject to the requirement that the grantee provide an
equal and matching fund for this purpose. Notwithstanding
Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching fund may include funds
expended prior to the effective date of this Act........................... 94,000
