AN ACT concerning

Queen Anne's County - County Commissioners - Salaries

FOR the purpose of altering the salary of the County
Commissioners of Queen Anne's County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

The Public Local Laws of Queen Anne's County
Section 5-5

Article 18 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1974 Edition, as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as
follows:

Article 18 - Queen Anne's County

5-5.

Each of the County Commissioners taking office after
the general election held in [1974] 1982 shall receive an
annual salary of [$7,000] $10,000. Each Commissioner [also
will] SHALL be reimbursed for actual expenses incurred in
the performance of his duties on the presentation of
vouchers and on the approval of the entire board.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
may not be construed to extend or apply to the salary of the
County Commissioners of Queen Anne's County in office on the
effective date of this Act, but the provisions of this Act
concerning the salary of the County Commissioners of Queen
Anne's County shall take effect at the beginning of the next
following term of office.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.
