           And The Said Eliz^th Ricketts being Called to The barr Appears and
           prays Tryall of The p^rmisses this Court w^ch being granted The Said
                               to
           Eliz^th for plea ^ The Indictm^t Affs^d Sayeth that She is not Guilty and
           Thereof puts her Selfe for Tryall upon her Countrey
And The Said Richd Macklin who p^rsecutes for Our Lady y^e Queen in like

      Thereupon Comand is given The Sherf of Kent County That He Imedate
    :ly Cause to Come here Twelve &c^a. by whome &c^a. who doth not &c^a. to Recog
    :nize &c^a. because as well &c^a. ——————————

    And The S^d Sheref returnes his p^rcept That ^ has here ready Twelve &c^a as by
    his p^rcept he was Comanded That is to Say —————

     Who being elected Tryed & sworne to Say The truth in The p^rmises
     Do Say upon Their Oaths Wee of The Jury haveing heard The p^rcess &
     pleadings in This behalfe do Say upon Our Oaths Wee find The Defd^t.
     Guilty of The p^rmisses, W^ch being by The Court heard & understood it
     is by Them Considerd That The Sherf of Kent County Imediately take
     The Said Elizabeth Rickitts & putt her in The Pillory According to —
     Custome, There to remaine for The Space of one hour And That after
     The Said one hour is Expired he take her to The Whiping post & give her
     Twenty Lashes on her bare backe well laid On, And That The Said Eliz^th
     Rickitts Satisfie & pay unto The Said Edw’d Scott The sume of Eight pounds
     Sixe shillings Sterl^g for The fore fold of The goods Affs^d being by This
     Court adjudged to The sume aboves^d And That The Said Eliz^th Rickitts pay
     All Cost & Charges in This behalfe Accrueing ———— ——— ———
     And The Said Sherf haveing Executed The Corporall punishment as
     affs^d This 24^th day of June Ann^o Domⁱ 1703 The Said Eliz^th Rickitts
     not finding security for her Appearance & good behav^r. till next
     Court was Comitted into The Sherfs Custod untill such Satisfaccõn ~
     be made as Judgement above is given for,
