Guilty of The prmisses, Wch being by The Court heard & understood it is by Them Considerd That The Sherf of Kent County Imediately take The Said Elizabeth Rickitts & putt her in The Pillory According to Custome, There to remaine for The Space of one hour And That after The Said one hour is Expired he take her to The Whiping post & give her Twenty Lashes on her bare backe well laid On, And That The Said Elizth Rickitts Satisfie & pay unto The Said Edw’d Scott The sume of Eight pounds Sixe shillings Sterlg for The fore fold of The goods Affsd being by This Court adjudged to The sume abovesd And That The Said Elizth Rickitts pay All Cost & Charges in This behalfe Accrueing And The Said Sherf haveing Executed The Corporall punishment as affsd This 24th day of June Anno Domi 1703 The Said Elizth Rickitts not finding security for her Appearance & good behavr. till next Court was Comitted into The Sherfs Custod untill such Satisfaccõn ~ be made as Judgement above is given for, GLumley Cor:Curr:Com:Carr |
