(Senate Bill 294)

AN ACT concerning

Election Code - Board Office Hours

FOR the purpose of requiring, on a certain day, the boards
of supervisors of election to accept registration by
mail applications until closing time and to register
certain persons waiting to register at closing time;
changing the time for closing board offices and for
acceptance of certificates of withdrawal on the last
day for withdrawing; and setting a time for closing
board offices and for acceptance of certificates of
declination on the last day for declining.

Section 3-8(a)(2) and 9-1(b), respectively

to be Section 3-8(a)(3) and 9-l(b)(l), respectively

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 3-8(a)(2) and 9-l(b),
respectively, of Article 33 - Election Code, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland be renumbered to be Section(s)
3-8(a)(3) and 9-l(b)(l), respectively.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That section(s)
of the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed, amended, or
enacted to read as follows:
