(3) THE ADMINISTRATION MAY ADOPT RULES AND
REGULATIONS TO ESTABLISH GUIDELINES FOR REGISTRATION OF
SCHOOL TYPE VEHICLES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS SECTION.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

AN ACT concerning

Vehicle Laws — Definition of Conviction

FOR the purpose of conforming the Article 66 1/2
definition of conviction with provisions relating to
probation [[before]] [[or]] on a stay of entering
judgment enacted by Chapter 527, Acts of 1975; and
renumbering the section.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 66 1/2 - Vehicle Laws

Section 6-204.1

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1970 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 6-204.1 of Article 66 1/2 -
Vehicle Laws, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970
Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

Article 66 1/2 - Vehicle Laws

[6-204.1.] 6-204.

For the purposes of this subtitle the term
"conviction" means a final conviction. Also, for the

purposes of this subtitle an unvacated forfeiture of bail
or collateral deposited to secure a defendant's
