798.

(A) A person who practices audiology or speech
pathology shall annually pay to the Board a fee in an
amount established by the Board for a renewal of his
[certificate of registration or certificate of
endorsement] LICENSE. A thirty—day grace period shall be
allowed after expiration of a [certificate] LICENSE
during which [certificate] IT may be renewed on payment
of a fee in an amount established by the Board. The
Board may suspend the [certificate] LICENSE of any person
who fails to renew [his certificate] IT before the
expiration of the thirty—day grace period. After the
expiration of the grace period, the Board may renew [such
a certificate upon] the LICENSE ON payment of a fee in an
amount established by the Board. [No person who applies
for renewal, ] AN INDIVIDUAL whose [certificate] LICENSE
was suspended for failure to renew[, shall] AND WHO
APPLIES FOR RENEWAL WITHIN FIVE YEARS OF THE EXPIRATION
DATE MAY NOT be required to submit to any examination as
a condition of renewal.

(B)    A PERSON WHO FAILS TO RENEW HIS LICENSE WITHIN
FIVE YEARS AFTER ITS EXPIRATION MAY NOT RENEW IT, BUT MAY
APPLY FOR A NEW LICENSE UNDER EXISTING LICENSURE
REQUIREMENTS.

(C)    THE BOARD, THROUGH RULES AND REGULATIONS,
SHALL REQUIRE THE APPLICANT FOR LICENSE RENEWAL TO
PRESENT EVIDENCE OF SATISFACTORY COMPLETION OF CONTINUING
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS.

799.

(A) Any person [registered] LICENSED under this
subtitle may have [his certificate] IT revoked or
suspended for a [fixed] period OF TIME STIPULATED by the
Board for any of the following causes:

(1)    Conviction of an offense involving moral
turpitude. The record of conviction or a certified copy
thereof certified by the clerk of the court or by a judge
in whose court the conviction is had, shall be conclusive
evidence of such conviction.

(2)    [His certificate] IF A LICENSE has been
secured by fraud or deceit practiced upon the Board.

(3)    Fraud or deceit in connection with [his]
services rendered as an audiologist or speech
pathologist.

(4) Unprofessional conduct as defined by the
rules established by the Board or violation of the code
of ethics [made] ESTABLISHED and published by the Board.

(5) Violation of any lawful order, rule or
regulation rendered or adopted by the Board.
