       Elizabeth do for themselves their heirs Executors & Administrators covenant and agree
       with the said Nicholas Maccubbin that if there should hereafter be a recovery
       at Law or in Equity of the said Mullatto Poll & her Increase from the said
       Nicholas Maccubbin his heirs Executors or Administrators by a Title Paramount
       the Title under which the said Nicholas Maccubbin holds as afs.d a Paramount
       the TItle under which the said Elizabeth Sophia & Edward hold as afs.d that then
       the said Edward and Elizabeth their heirs Executors & Administrators shall on
       Demand ^to^ pay unto the said Nicholas Maccubbin his heirs Executors Administrators
       or assigns the said sum of Two hundred and sixty two pounds ten Shillings
       Current Money the consideration money of the above presents  In Witness whereof
       the parties to these presents have set their hand & seal this fifth day of November
       Seventeen hundred and Eighty five

                            On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus endorsed (to wit)

          Harford County Ss.t  On the 5.th day of November seventeen hundred &
       Eighty five came before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace for
       Harford County the within Named Edward Flannagan & Eliz Sophia his wife
       & acknowledged the within Instrument to be their Act and Deed & Delivered for
       the purpose therein Mentioned and the said Eliz Sophia being examined apart &
       out of the hearing of her husband declared that she did not acknowledge the same
       or execute the said instrument by threats of or thro' fear of her husband or his
       displeasure
                                                                                                    Tho.s Bond

          The State of Maryland Harford County (to wit)

                         I hereby Certify that Thomas Bond Gent before whom the within Acknowledgment
       were taken were at the day of the date thereof and still remains one of the
       Justices of the peace for the County aforesaid and all acknowledgments before
       him so taken as such due faith & credit is and ought to be given as well in Courts
       of Justice as thereout
                                           In Testimony whereof I have set my hand and seal of office
          (County seal)               this 8.th day of Novem.r 1785
